Plain-English licensing

Licence Terms and Fair Use Policy

We want our plugin licensing to be simple: buy a plugin, use it confidently in your AppGini work, and do not redistribute or resell our code.

Seller and order processing

These licence terms are issued by Matthew Nicholas Dannatt t/a GiniBlocks.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

GiniBlocks provides the downloadable plugins, secure fulfilment, product documentation, and technical product support.

Questions about a GiniBlocks product can be sent through our secure contact form.

What your purchase includes

  • A license to use the purchased plugin in your own AppGini applications.
  • One year of free upgrades from the date of purchase.
  • Unlimited use across the AppGini applications you build or maintain.

Fair use

You may install and use the plugin on your AppGini projects, including projects you build for clients, as long as the plugin itself is not being sold, shared, or published as a separate product.

Please do not

  • Post our plugin code, in whole or in part, on GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, forums, paste sites, or similar platforms.
  • Resell, repackage, sublicense, or distribute our plugins as your own product.
  • Share download links, license files, or private plugin files with people who have not purchased them.

Client work

You can use the plugins in AppGini applications you deliver to clients. The practical line is simple: your client receives the finished application, not a reusable copy of our plugin for separate distribution.

Third-party code

Some plugins may include or work with third-party libraries. For example, PHP QR Code is LGPL licensed, and FPDF is released under a permissive license. Those libraries remain under their own licenses and are acknowledged where they are used.

This page is written to be clear, not intimidating. If something unusual comes up, contact us before sharing, publishing, or repackaging plugin code.
